Frames built to hang in a group rather than to sit alone. The moulding is carved in high relief and on two of the styles it is pierced right through, so the wall shows between the scrolls and the frame reads as an object in its own right. Hang three or four together up a staircase, or lean one against the books on a shelf. The openings are small on purpose. A photograph in one of these is meant to look like a miniature.
- Cast in resin and finished by hand, with the colour worked into the carving and rubbed back on the raised edges so no two come out flat.
- Made to hang on a wall, and small and light enough to stand on a shelf or a mantel instead.
- Two of the four styles are pierced right through the border, which is why they look like antique frames rather than moulded copies of them.
- Every style is its own moulding at its own size, so pick by the print you want to put in it. All four are measured below.
- Supplied in a paper carton with a printed picture card in the opening, not a photograph.
