CatSafe™ Escape-Proof Cat Harness with Leash

More freedom for your cat – with secure support for shared adventures

With CatSafe™, your cat can explore the outdoors while you safely accompany her on a leash. The body-hugging vest design wraps around the chest and upper body, distributing pulling forces over a larger area than a collar attachment alone.

The soft mesh material, padded edges, and adjustable fit are designed for comfortable freedom of movement – ideal for first steps in the garden, short walks, or joint exploration tours.

Thoughtful design against escaping

Cats are extremely agile and can quickly wiggle out of a harness that is too loose. Therefore, CatSafe™ combines a body-hugging vest shape with adjustable areas, closures, and sturdy attachment rings.

The harness is put on over the front legs and then fastened around the body. This allows for easy adjustment without complicated over-the-body fitting.

The key benefits of CatSafe™

  • Body-hugging vest harness specifically designed for cats
  • Escape-proof fit for more control
  • Soft and breathable mesh fabric
  • Padded bindings for comfortable wear
  • Adjustable fit for a secure hold
  • Robust click closure
  • Sturdy metal rings for leash attachment
  • Reflective details on the harness
  • Supports natural freedom of movement while exploring
  • Easy to put on and take off over the front legs
  • For walks, garden, and other supervised outdoor activities
  • Matching leash included in the set

Comfort that allows freedom of movement

A cat harness should not only fit securely but also be comfortable to wear. The soft mesh material of CatSafe™ conforms to the body while allowing air circulation.

The wider construction distributes pressure across the chest and body instead of concentrating pulling solely on the sensitive neck. Vest-like cat harnesses can also be harder to slip out of than very narrow strap systems – provided that size and adjustment are correct.

Discover the world outside the home together

Rustling leaves, new scents, grass under their paws – for curious indoor cats, controlled time outdoors can offer many new experiences.

With CatSafe™, you maintain a connection to your cat through the included leash while she can explore her surroundings at her own pace. The cat should never be pulled or forced into a classic "walk."

Gradually get used to the harness

1. Let her get to know the harness
Initially, place CatSafe™ near your cat at home. Give her time to sniff it and become familiar with the new item.

2. Put it on for a short time
Gently guide her front legs through the designated openings and fasten the harness. Start with short sessions in a familiar environment.

3. Carefully adjust the fit
The harness should fit snugly without cutting into the skin or restricting movement. Too much slack increases the risk of the cat wiggling out backward. The right size and a snug but comfortable fit are crucial.

4. Attach the leash and practice indoors
Attach the leash to the designated metal rings and let your cat get used to it indoors at first.

5. Gradually transition outdoors
Only when your cat is relaxed with the harness and leash should you try a calm, controllable outdoor environment. A gradual acclimatization is also recommended by cat training experts.

Safety begins with the right fit

Even though CatSafe™ is designed as an escape-proof harness, no cat harness should be considered absolutely escape-proof. A determined or frightened cat can free herself from a well-constructed harness under unfavorable conditions.

Therefore, carefully measure your cat before choosing a size, check the fit before each outing, and never leave her unsupervised or tied to the harness outdoors. Especially during the first outings, the environment should be calm and clear.
