Does it really stand on its own, or does it collapse?
It stands. The quilted walls are thick enough to maintain their own shape without a wire frame or plastic lining, so it stays upright, empty, half-full, or filled to the top. It’s the one thing people write about most, and it’s the reason we make them quilted instead of from thin fabric.
How do I clean it?
Daily, wipe it down with a damp cloth. When it needs more, wash it cool on a gentle cycle and air dry — not in the dryer, as the heat will cause the shape to disappear from the quilted fabric.
Will the pattern fade or peel?
No. The design is printed into the fabric instead of stitched or stuck on, so there’s nothing to flake or peel off. Wash it cool and keep it out of hours of direct sunlight, and it will stay as it is.
Is every basket identical?
Almost, but not quite — and we’d rather say that. Each basket is hand-cut and quilted, so the pattern meets the seam just a little differently on each basket, and the color may be slightly warmer or cooler than the photo. The design itself is always as shown. If yours isn’t what you hoped for, you have 30 days to return it.
Is it heavy to carry when full?
The basket itself is lightweight — it’s fabric, not molded plastic or wood — so what you’re carrying is mostly the laundry. The canvas handles are stitched into the body, so they can carry a full load without stretching at the seam.
Can I use it for something other than laundry?
Many people do. It works as toy storage in a playroom, blanket and throw storage next to the couch, spare bedding in a closet, or a tidy basket that gets carried from room to room at the end of the day.
